Extra Aircraft company was established by Walter Extra in 1980 in Germany. Walter Extra always used to view the air industry from his own specific perspective. As one of the most world’s successful acrobatic pilots, he decided to design and build his own airplane in the 80’s. What started as an experimental operation of one person has expanded into international success story. Nowadays, there is series of advanced acrobatic airplanes that come out of this initiative including the Extra 330 LX model. The two seat acrobatic special made of steel 1.7734, carbon fibres, titan, etc. Motor Lycoming AEIO-580 B1A, 315 horse power. The airplane is able to carry overweight of +/-10g.
